Arts Day is a day established by the Wilson community to celebrate the arts across the curriculum. It is an opportunity to appreciate the impact of the arts in our daily lives, and to explore the critical and creative nature of the visual and performing arts.

All events are free and open to the public.

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ juried high school art exhibition will be held in the Bogigian Gallery in Lortz Hall from Oct. 30 to Dec. 6, 2019, with an opening reception on Oct 30, 4:30-6 p.m. It is a chance for student artists to see their artwork displayed in a professional venue and possibly win cash or a scholarship.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ will hold a reception from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, in Lortz Hall's Bogigian Gallery to mark the opening of a new exhibition featuring works made by artist members of The Foundry. The exhibition, which will run through Oct. 11, is free and open to the public.

An art exhibition celebrating the 150-year history of Â鶹ÊÓƵ Â鶹ÊÓƵ –created by Baltimore artist Jim Condron using college relics and artifacts Â鶹ÊÓƵ –opens Wednesday, Sept. 4, in the Wilson library's Sue Davison Cooley Gallery. The exhibition, You Never Wash it Off Completely, will run through Dec. 15.

Visit the Cooley Gallery and explore a special invitational alumni art exhibit. This show will feature works by graduates of Wilson Â鶹ÊÓƵ ’s bachelor Â鶹ÊÓƵ ’s and MFA degree programs that celebrate all that is Boldly Wilson. Cooley Gallery is named in honor of Wilson alumna Sue Davison Cooley Â鶹ÊÓƵ ’44, a Portland, Ore., area philanthropist and Â鶹ÊÓƵ benefactor.

Join us for this annual juried undergraduate art exhibition. An opening reception will be held April 3 from 4:30 - 6 p.m.

The Foundry will host an exhibition of works by Â鶹ÊÓƵ studio art students at its 100 S. Main St. gallery space in downtown Chambersburg. The show, which will open Feb. 18 and run through March 10, will feature a meet-and-greet with the artists from 5 to 7 p.m. on March 1 during downtown's First Friday activities. The event and the exhibition are free and open to the public.
