National Players to Perform 'Julius Caesar' on Friday, Nov. 20 Posted on: November 12, 2015 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | Nov. 5, 2015 Chambersburg, Pa. Â鶹ÊÓƵ — The 2015-16 Â鶹ÊÓƵ Performing Arts Series opens Friday, Nov. 20, with a performance of Shakespeare Â鶹ÊÓƵ ’s Julius Caesar at 6 p.m. in Laird Hall. The Bard Â鶹ÊÓƵ ’s masterful examination of conspiracy, assassination and its fallout will be performed by the National Players, America Â鶹ÊÓƵ ’s longest-running, classic theater touring company Â鶹ÊÓƵ — now celebrating its 68th anniversary season. In the timeless Julius Caesar, the people of ancient Rome venerate their leader, but his close friend, Marcus Brutus, sees that Caesar may be too powerful for the good of the nation.
